If you select Oak Ridge Legal Search, we will begin by asking for your resume and some additional documentation so we can evaluate your materials and discuss your goals with you. After an initial consultation, we will begin searching for positions that best suit your interests. Our recruiting process is completely confidential so any information you share with us, including your application materials, are strictly between us until you give your permission to disclose. In addition, you are under no obligation to work with us and can sever the work relationship at any time. As a candidate, you will not pay us anything for our placement services.

What makes us different from all of the other agencies out there? Put it simply, we know what internal firm recruiting professionals look for, because our founder served that role for over 10 years. We know the common mistakes candidates and agencies make in submitting application materials for positions. We understand the frustrations legal recruiting departments face when reviewing applicant materials that are missing crucial pieces of information, aren’t relevant for the positions for which they are submitted, or are working with agencies that don’t seem to know or understand the basic concepts required to advocate for their candidates. We know what to look for, and how to best position your application so that it is seriously considered.
We endeavor to formulate close working relationships with our candidates. We work best when there is an open exchange of information between the candidate and our agency. While the market is such that we cannot guarantee we will find your dream job, we will be honest and forthright about our efforts, and the feedback we receive. If we are not able to work with you for any reason, we will tell you as soon as we are made aware of any potential areas of concern. We know there are many options out there, and although we will not ask for you to work with us exclusively, we will have a greater chance of success if we are your one and only agency.
